What you get when you join

From the Start Date you are entitled to the membership benefits and use of the facilities and services that apply to the Membership Type you selected.

When can you put your membership on hold?

  • All members are permitted up to 4 weeks holiday pause within a 12 month period.

  • If you require a longer leave period you can request an additional 2 weeks at a reduced rate. 50% of your current plan price.

  • All leave requests must be made in writing via email to hello@movingthroughmotherhood.com. Whats app or insta messaging is not acceptable.

  • Given we are a small studio, we can only have a certain number of memberships paused at any one time without putting the studio in financial duress. For this reason, during busier periods such as DEC/JAN only a limited number of leave requests can be approved and they will be given on a first come, first served basis.

Pregnancy Pause

  • At MTM we are happy for you to train right up until delivery if that feels good for you; however, we also offer a ‘pregnancy pause’ which can be accessed from 36 weeks.

  • You can remain on pregnancy pause up to 12 weeks postpartum at which point your payments will recommence. (unless documentation is provided to demonstrate you are medically unable to return to exercise then further leave can be negotiated)

  • This means you get to stay connected to your MTM community over those first few months of motherhood, your membership rate is locked in and you avoid any joining fee’s that would apply if you chose to cancel your membership.

  • We will contact you via email at the 6 week pp mark to remind you to book in for your 6 week Dr’s/physio check up and see if you are ready to return to training or if you would like to utilise the remaining weeks of your pregnancy pause.

  • If you wish to cancel your membership immediately after a pregnancy pause, we require 4 weeks notice.

Ending your membership

  • If you wish to cancel your membership we want to make it as easy as possible. All we require is  3 weeks notice. (ie three billing periods must be completed before account is cancelled)

  • Notice must be given in writing via email ONLY to hello@movingthroughmotherhood.com (no whtas app, app , wix app messages or DM’s)

  • Cancellations will result in the loss of your current membership rate and also note to re join you will be subject to our joining fee .

  • All membership cancellations in the month of December will require 4 weeks notice.

  • Cancellations made directly following a pregnancy pause require 4 weeks notice.

When can we end your membership?
We reserve the right to cancel  your membership, if you act in a manner that goes against MTM's values and ethics or if there are ongoing issues with payments being missed, that we cannot resolve.
