MTM’s WinterWellness Challenge
This winter at MTM is all about cultivating wellness and prioritising self care through these colder months. We have devised our Winter Wellness Challenge to inspire, motivate and support you, our much loved community, to implement some simple self-care strategies into your routine. Throughout the challenge we will have some community events to promote social,emotional and spiritual wellness and there will be incentives to get to class more regularly to encourage physical wellness.Â
When Does it start?
The Challenge will Start on Monday 8th of July and runs until August 17th. (6 weeks)
How it Works?Â
Part 1 (Physical, Emotional, Social Well-being)
The aim of this challenge is to help you incorporate self care into your routine. Here at MTM we believe that exercise is one of the best ways to look after your mental health and well-being, so part 1 of the challenge is centred around helping you get more consistent with your training. Everybody who registers to partake in the challenge will receive a challenge sheet. Your sheet will be kept at the studio and each time you attend a class you will receive a sticker to pop on your card.Â
We will also have additional challenges and events throughout the 6 weeks, whereby you can earn bonus stickers. At the end of the challenge those with 30 + stickers will have their sheet entered into the prize draw (details below)Â
Part 2 (Physical, Emotional, Social Well-being)
Now, we know that self care and well-being is more than just working out, so each winter wellness participant will also receive a second sheet to take home. On this card you will be asked to set 3 personal self care goals/ acts that you would like to work on over the 6 weeks. When you perform one of your selected self care goals/ acts simply tick the box on your Self-Care Chart. At the end of the 6 weeks, bring your chart back to the studio for a second entry into our prize draw.Â
Some self care goals you may consider , 5 minute meditation, journaling, reading a book, NO social media after 6pm, ocean dips, walks, podcasts, reading , connecting with a friend etc etc this is a personal choice. Think about things that fill your bucket and if you only have capacity to set one self care goal that's fine. Whatever you can mange these is supposed to be a helpful and supportive exercise NOT to stress you out more.

Rules
- 1 sticker per class.
- 1 sticker per run (show trainer your strava)
- 2 stickers for Barre or yoga
- Additional stickers will be up for grabs throughout the challenge with weekly tasks. So keep an eye on wix for updates to the challenge group.
- You must earn 30 stickers on your studio chart to have it entered into the prize draw.Â
- Your self care chart will be entered into the draw as long as you have 10+ ticks for self care acts.Â
- If you are currently on ‘preggie pause’ or on holidays, you are more than welcome to participate in this challenge. We can email you the self care chart to print out and play along.Â
- All charts must be returned to the studio on or before Monday 19th of August to be entered into the draw. (If you are away, email us a pic of your chart hello@movingthroughmotherhood.com)
- If you would like to upgrade your membership for the duration of the challenge, please email hello@movingthroughmotherhood.com and we can arrange that for you. Gold Members upgrade for a once off payment of ($60) and Silver can upgrade to premium for a once off payment of ($180). Your upgrade will run the length of the challenge and then you will  revert back to your previous membership rate
- We are going to draw a winner for each prize as oppossed to rewarding the person with the most stickers. This challenge is all about working on cultivating our own wellness and being consistent with our training as oppossed to being in competition with anybody else.
- To be in with the best chance of winning you want to be able to enter both cards into the prize draw.
We will celebrate all our hard work over the WWC with an MTM Social to finish. Save the date for Sat Aug 17th. 🥂💃💃💃
